Software and IT consulting firm Perficient announces plans to double staff at Downtown office, hiring 70 new employees.

Perficient is a global IT and software consulting firm with an office in Downtown Lafayette. The company currently employs 75 people in their Jefferson Street office, but recently announced plans to expand their staff with 70 new employees. The company’s Lafayette Delivery Center is part of a worldwide group of Perficient offices that delivers technical consulting solutions to leading companies. The tech company opened their Downtown office in April 2016 with plans to hire 245 employees over a five year period.
The firm will hold a recruitment event on Thursday, October 10th at their office (538 Jefferson Street) from 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Perficient is seeking both entry-level and experienced IT professionals to expand software development services in Lafayette. Perficient plans to fill more than 70 positions, including QA consultants, ETL/data consultants and technical consultants, including software developers and solution architects.
