The Sonic Christmas Parade rolls through Downtown on Sunday, December 8th. The annual parade marks the official arrival of Santa in Lafayette. Santa is the star of the parade which will also have floats, high school marching bands and dance clubs. Kids should bring any letters for Santa to the parade where they will be collected and mailed to the North Pole. The Sonic Christmas Parade is a perfect opportunity to get into the holiday spirit.
The parade begins at 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Street underpass in Downtown. The parade will travel down Jefferson Street toward Johnston on its way toward the Oil Center. After the parade passes through Downtown, there will be an after-party held at Parc International with a chance to take pictures with Santa and enjoy the North Pole installation at the parc.
More details about the parade can be found on the Sonic website.
