Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns presents Downtown Rising 2021
Downtown Rising 2021 is returning as a limited capacity outdoor event on Thursday, November 11th at Parc International in downtown Lafayette.
Downtown Rising is an annual event that celebrates Downtown’s growth and development as teh city center continues to rise.
Downtown Rising is a Social Entertainment event production, presented by the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns and wouldn’t be possible without the partnership of Z105.9, exclusive non-profit partner Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, Festival International de Louisiane, and official food partner Viva La Waffle.
As an outdoor, gated event, Downtown Rising will be at limited capacity and will follow all Covid-19 safety and state restrictions. Downtown Rising asks that any guests stay home if they are not feeling well.

TANK AND THE BANGAS
This Festival International de Louisiane fan-favorite has a rare knack for combining various musical styles into one dazzling whole.
BIG FREEDIA
Known as the Queen of Bounce Music, this New Orleans-based hip-hop artist is a worldwide ambassador of bounce music who puts on a show-stopping performance.
DJ DIGITAL
Lafayette’s own DJ Digital is an artist fully immersed in his craft. With over 20 years of mixing under his belt, he’s honed a unique mixing style that consistently leaves crowds wanting more.
Downtown Rising 2020 featuring Cold War Kids was canceled due to the pandemic. Tickets previously bought for Downtown Rising 2020 will remain valid for Downtown Rising on Thursday, November 11.
