Downtown Lunch & Learn: Safety Summit 2.0

Downtown Lafayette Unlimited and The Acadiana Advocate are hosting a Downtown Lunch & Learn focused on safety in the Downtown district.

Downtown Lafayette deals with issues of safety on a regular basis. Downtown property owners, business owners, and Downtown’s surrounding neighborhood stakeholders are invited to hear from Lafayette Police Department leadership on a variety of issues including safety, policing, and panhandling in Downtown Lafayette. The Safety Summit 2.0 will include a panel of representatives like LPD Interim Chief Scott Morgan, Lt. Walter Allred, Sgt. Brad Robin, and City Prosecutor Gary Haynes.

The Downtown Lunch & Learn: Safety Summit 2.0 is presented by The Acadiana Advocate and sponsored by Teche Drugs.

Downtown Lunch & Learns are regular events held by Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, the member-based, non-profit arm of Downtown Lafayette (DDA/DLU). These lunches are free to attend for DLU members and open to non-members for the cost of lunch.
