Pixar’s Coco will play at Movies in the Parc on Saturday, October 12. The gates at Parc International will be open at 4:00 PM, with the movie beginning at dark.
Movies in the Parc, presented by Kiwanis Lafayette, is a free and family-friendly outdoor movie night in Downtown Lafayette. The event features activities for the kids, popcorn, beverages, and other food from Downtown vendors at an open-air location that is perfect for a family movie night. Bring your folding chairs and blankets to get comfy and grab a bucket of popcorn while you enjoy the movie. Proceeds from the event help to fund the efforts of Downtown Lafayette Unlimited to provide free and family-friendly activities in Downtown Lafayette.
Coco at Movies in the Parc will coincide with the Great Painted Pumpkin Festival. Bring your painted pumpkin to compete for best pumpkin at the festival. Moviegoers are also encouraged to attend the event in their Halloween or Día de Los Muertos costumes. Plus, anyone wearing an “I Voted” sticker will receive a free cookie!
