As the 54th Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana, Nungesser and his team have guided the state to record-breaking tourism numbers in each of the last four years consecutive to the pandemic. Just recently, he has announced over 41 million visitors came to Louisiana in 2021, signifying a quicker than expected recovery following two challenging years of stalled visitation due to the pandemic.

 

Ben Berthelot is the President & CEO of the Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission. Within the Tourism industry, Ben actively serves on numerous boards and commissions and works daily to market Lafayette throughout the world as a highly desirable vacation, group, and convention destination.
