What began as a small Friday night street party has evolved into an exciting large-scale concert series attended by thousands of concert-goers. Downtown Lafayette has taken on a new life as the center for great food, live music, arts and culture, and incredible events. DTA! provides FREE live music for all ages during its active seasons. Spanning genres from Cajun and Creole to Indie Pop, Rock, Soul, Country, Folk, and RnB—DTA! is an event for music lovers of all kinds.

HOW DOWNTOWN STAYED ALIVE Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Downtown Alive! first went virtual during the Spring 2020 season. The DTA! House Sessions, a series of online, stay-at-home Friday night concerts. After the success of the House Sessions series, DTA! once again went virtual for the Fall 2020 season. Combined, these seasons reached over 200,000 people and kept the community entertained — and safe. Now with this new season we are so excited to move back to our traditional format in-person and in the community.
