Parc Sans Souci
Performances by Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys and Daiquiri Queens are sure to make the crowds dance at Parc Sans Souci with the show starting at 5:30.

UL Lafayette Cypress Lake Quintet
Parc Sans Souci
The Cypress Lake Quintet comprised of UL Lafayette faculty performs a wide range of jazz styles. The quintet will play some of the best-known jazz standards as well as repertoire from contemporary artists. Lucas Munce on sax, Chris Munson on drums, Paul Morton on trumpet, Bob Nash on bass, and Garth Alper on piano will be exploring these great jazz compositions through group and individual improvisations. Come and experience the group’s artistry!

The second edition of Local Palooza, a two-day music festival celebrating local musicians and artisans on Memorial Day weekend. Local Palooza boasts an impressive group of performers featuring Clay Cormier & The Highway Boys, Lil’ Nathan & The Zydeco Big Timers, Jeffrey Broussard & The Creole Cowboys, Lost Bayou Ramblers, and many more.

HOW DOWNTOWN STAYED ALIVE Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Downtown Alive! first went virtual during the Spring 2020 season. The DTA! House Sessions, a series of online, stay-at-home Friday night concerts. After the success of the House Sessions series, DTA! once again went virtual for the Fall 2020 season. Combined, these seasons reached over 200,000 people and kept the community entertained — and safe. Now with this new season we are so excited to move back to our traditional format in-person and in the community.
