It's Our Future... Let's Plan for It!
Lafayette is embarking on a comprehensive plan to guide its future growth and development. But that plan will only be as strong and robust as the participation that fuels it. Downtown Framework PlanAn Open House was held on August 14, 2012. The following presentation was on display to help inform downtown stakeholders about the planning process. More than 150 people attended the Open House to view the Consultant team’s initial mapping of downtown existing conditions and to begin generating ideas for the future. If you were not able to attend the Open House, you still have the chance to review the draft existing condition maps (links below) and provide input by completing a survey about downtown (click here). The survey will be open until September 21st at 3 p.m. The preliminary maps were on display at the Open House and give an overview of the existing conditions in Downtown Lafayette. This is the time for us all to Get Involved! This is the time to share our vision, creativity and bold ideas for the future of Lafayette!
