Acadiana Center for the Arts brings the very best in contemporary jazz from around the world with the Jazz @ the Center Series. Join us as we turn AcA's James Devin Moncus Theater into a New York City-style Jazz club. Enjoy great jazz in an authentic club atmosphere with one of the most brilliant musicians of his time, Fred Hersch with the Fred Hersch Trio on Friday, January 20 at 8:00 p.m.
Pianist and composer Fred Hersch has been called "one of the small handful of brilliant musicians of his generation" by Down Beat. Vanity Fair says Hersch is "the most aggressively innovative pianist in jazz over the last decade” earning a place among the foremost jazz artists in the world today.
